OPD: Man hurt in N. 44th Ave. shooting

Omaha Police officers responded to a shooting in the 5600 block of N 44th Ave after 1:30 p.m. Friday.

When OPD officers arrived to the scene, they were advised that the victim had been dropped off at Creighton University Medical Center by private vehicle.

Witness told police that  a vehicle drove by the residence and fired multiple shots striking a male party.

Victim has been identified as 22-year-old Aziz Luckett. Luckett remains in critical but stable condition at this time.

The suspect is described as a Black male with dread lock hairstyle.
