There are now less than 1,000 OPPD customers without power after stormy weather caused outages in multiple areas in the metro.
The number of outages peaked around 7:30 a.m. when 5,506 customers were without power. At that time, more than 3,400 in Douglas County were without power.
Because a breaker that went down around 6 a.m. in Louisville, there were also 1,986 without power in Cass County.
Crews are still working to fix equipment issues in Cass County.
