OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Fremont County Seriff's Office in Iowa, says two people from Plattsmouth were arrested after the office received a burglary report at a flooded-out business in Thurman.

They say an investigation carried out on Sunday by two deputies at the scene ended with the arrest of 57-year-old Joseph Hofler and 41-year-old Marie Gillespie, both of Plattsmouth, Nebraska.

The suspects were transported to the Fremont County Jail but were able to make bond.

The Fremont County Sheriff's Office says the incident is still under investigation.
