Police have released the booking photo for a man accused of opening fire in a west Omaha bar and later shooting at officers.
Dwight Rodgers, 63, faces five counts of attempted murder, two counts of terroristic threats and seven counts of use of a weapon to commit a felony and felony criminal mischief.
He is accused of opening fire inside the Parliament Pub at 168th and W. Center Road around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, and then fleeing to a nearby apartment complex where he also fired at officers trying to take him into custody.
"Officers were able to take cover and were not injured by the shots. Officers did not return fire," the Omaha Police Department said in a prepared statement Wednesday evening.
Rodgers surrendered after speaking with a negotiator, according to police.
