A prayer walk has now been scheduled for a 15 year old girl who was shot early Saturday morning and later died.

Omaha Police confirm 15 year old Shadaisja Hill has died from her injuries A press release sent by the First Responders PrayerWalks Group says Hill has been taken off life support and her mother requested the prayer walk for Wednesday evening at 5:30 p.m.

Hill was shot at 36th and Lake about 2:15 a.m. Saturday, and was taken by private vehicle to CHI Clinic and then transferred to CHI-Bergan Mercy.  Hill was pronounced brain dead but she was kept on life support so her organs could be harvested.

Police arrested 25 year old Catessa Barnum for felony assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.  Shadaisja's mother Portia Hill says she was dropping off a friend at 36th and Lake with Shadaisja in the car. Hill says she and Barnum have had issues in the past, and Barnum confronted her and began shooting, hitting the teen.

Barnum is scheduled to make her first court appearance Wednesday morning.  It's likely prosecutors will upgrade the charge to murder.
