OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Due to the ongoing pandemic, and impacts to Waste Management's operation, the City of Omaha says recycling will not be picked up on Thursday.

The city says people who have recyclable materials, and normally have those items picked up on Thursday, should wait to put those items out until next week.

Garbage collection will not be impacted and recycling collection will resume on Friday. The city also says "any areas of garbage not collected on the normal collection day, Waste Management will return to the following day."
