An outdoor tradition in Sarpy County returns with family fun, live music and barbecue but to a new location.
The Missouri River flooding from last month's rainfall forced organizers to move RiverFest from Haworth Park to nearby American Heroes Park this weekend.
Festivities kick off Friday at 5 p.m. with the Emmett Bower Band hitting the stage at 6 p.m.
On Saturday, live performances continue at noon while goers can enjoy a classic car show, carnival and the Budweiser Beer Garden. In the evening, a firework show is scheduled for 10 p.m.
Admission is a $1 and parking is limited, according to Jim Ristow with Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, which is hosting the two-day event.
Shuttle pickup and drop-off is at 101 E. Mission Ave, located on the southeast side of Mission Ave. and Franklin St.
