Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders is stumping across western Iowa, as the Iowa Caucuses near. Sanders made three stops there Tuesday, drawing the biggest crowd at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs.
“Keep it a secret,” Sanders joked. “We're going to win and make history!”
More than 1000 of the democrat's supporters filed into the college’s athletic facility, to hear Sanders’ presidential promises. He also stopped in Harlan earlier Tuesday afternoon.
Sanders continue trying to close a support gap between him and Hillary Clinton. CBS News has him down about five points from Clinton in Iowa.
Sanders is scheduled to stop in Red Oak Wednesday.
