Before any events with Vice President Mike Pence even started, a small group of protestors braved the cold and wind to hold a demonstration outside the Mid-America Center.
The demonstrators said the tax overhaul isn't going to benefit most Americans because it was aimed at the rich.
The event, organized by a Pottawattamie County physician, attracted about a dozen people.
