LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — Trips westward on I-80 will take less time starting tomorrow. The Nebraska Department of Transportation says it will be increasing the speed limit on a portion of the interstate in Lincoln.
The increase will occur between 27th (Exit 403) and 56th Streets (Exit 405).
Reduced speed signs will be taken down in the morning and temporary speed limit signs will go up in their place at around noon. They say permanent signs will go up at a later date.
