Three students were injured when a semi rear-ended a school bus this afternoon on Highway 20 two miles east of Osmond which is in northern Nebraska.
According to the Nebraska State Patrol, the bus was stopped at a railroad crossing and had its flashing lights activated. It had begun moving again when a semi-tractor trailer hit it from behind.
NSP says there were 25 students and a bus driver on the bus when the crash happened.
Three students were taken to Osmond General Hospital and one was then life-flighted to Nebraska Medicine. None of the injuries is believed to be life-threatening.
