LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Police have arrested a 24-year-old man suspected of shooting to death a teenager five months ago in Lincoln.
He's suspected of killing 15-year-old Ali Al-Burkat. He was shot around 10 p.m. Sept. 29 while riding with others in a vehicle north of downtown Lincoln. Al-Burkat died later at a hospital. He was a junior at Lincoln Northeast High School.
Police say the suspect was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of second-degree murder. Online court records don't show that he's been formally charged.
