One of the persons of interest in the disappearance and death of Sydney Loofe has been moved to a different jail.
A notification from vinelink.com shows that Aubrey Trail was transferred Wednesday from the Saline County Jail in Wilber to an unknown facility. The reason for his transfer is also not known. The other person of interest in the Loofe case, Bailey Boswell, is still being shown as an inmate in Saline County.
Both Trail and Boswell are currently being held on unrelated federal charges of transporting stolen property across state lines. They pleaded not guilty to transporting stolen items from Kansas to Beatrice, Nebraska. They have not been charged with Loofe's disappearance or death.
Loofe disappeared in mid-November, and her body was discovered in Clay County, Nebraska in early December. Trail's attorney said in late December that he expected murder charges to be filed against his client in the coming weeks.
