Tour de Nebraska heading to panhandle

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The 32nd Tour de Nebraska is headed to the Nebraska Panhandle for the first time ever.

Tour de Nebraska takes place from June 19-23. The bike ride starts and ends in Sidney, Nebraska. Sidney is home to Cabela's and roughly 4.5 hours from Lincoln, all on I-80, which makes the travel convenient.

Day 1: Sidney to Kimball - 38 miles
Day 2: Kimball to Gering - 44 miles
Day 3: Gering to Scottsbluff - 5, 30, or 77-100 miles
Day 4: Scottsbluff to Bridgeport - 51 miles
Day 5: Bridgeport to Sidney - 45 miles

The five day bike ride totals about 250 miles. Tour de Nebraska estimates 450 riders from 25 states will experience Nebraska from a bicycle.
