A truck driver was killed in a crash on Interstate 80 near Beaver Crossing Wednesday afternoon.
The Nebraska State Patrol says a semi hauling cars struck the back of an SUV, then crossed the median and hit a westbound semi head-on. The driver of the car hauler died at the scene. The other semi driver was taken to a York hospital with injuries that ar not believed to be life threatening. The driver of the SUV wasn't hurt.
Westbound I-80 was closed for nearly 3 hours, but has since reopened.
