OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — An award has been granted to the USS Nebraska.
The missile submarine has been awarded the Arleigh Burke Fleet trophy.
It's an award for having achieved the greatest improvement in battle efficiency during the calendar year, and it's based upon a battle efficiency competition.
This is the third time the USS Nebraska has won the award.
