OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Verizon is providing unlimited calling, texting, and data for customers affected by severe flooding around the Omaha area.

Through March 25, Verizon is providing unlimited calling, texting and data to its postpaid and prepaid customers who live in the areas of Nebraska and Iowa that have been most affected by flood waters, a press release from the company says.

Verizon has also made a $10,000 donation to the American Red Cross.

To support the American Red Cross, text the word REDCROSS to 90999 and $10 will be added to your Verizon Wireless bill upon zip code confirmation.

A caller from the Fremont area told us that they were unable to take part in the relief effort by Verizon. You can check your eligibility by going to https://www.verizonwireless.com/featured/relief/
