OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — A local group of veterans is working to help feed the homeless, and feed them with healthy food.
Some of the vets are using land to grow vegetables to add to meals served to the homeless.
Produce is the most challenging commodity for shelters to get.
If you'd like to support their cause, Vet Help One will be at farmers markets in Omaha throughout the summer assisting area pantries with this issue.
