A vigil is planned Tuesday to remember a 2-year-old girl and her mother killed in a shooting that left three others injured.
Organizers say the public vigil is set for 5 p.m. outside the home where the deadly shooting happened, at 6630 N 107th Plz. A small memorial of stuffed animals was left there Tuesday morning.
Destacia Straughn, 22, and her 2-year-old child, Kenacia Amerson-Straughn, were shot to death Sunday, and three others, 22-year-old Kachelle Roby, 18-year-old Jamie Latner and 21-year-old Larrion Williams, were critically injured.
The suspect, identified as Dontevous Loyd, 23, turned himself into police Tuesday morning.

Parking: Cars should be parked along Redick Avenue to allow for residents to access their parking spaces and homes.
Managers at the complex where the shooting happened, sent a letter to residents to update them on the latest in the case.
