LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — University of Nebraska-Lincoln graduates heard from Warren Buffett in their virtual commencement Saturday.
Buffett gave the 2020 commencement address in a recorded phone call with Chancellor Ronnie Green.
His advice: find a job that doesn't feel like a job.
Buffett says don't settle for anything other than that, and it may take some time to find it, but just know that job is out there somewhere.
“The students I've seen from Lincoln, I mean, they are just outstanding. It makes me very encouraged about the world. It makes me very bullish of the world,” said Buffett.
According to our news partners at the Omaha World-Herald, a total of 1,404 degrees were honored during the virtual commencement. The university has awarded more than 300,000 degrees in UNL’s 151-year history.
