OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — According to a release from the city, garbage and recycling collection has been suspended. If your garbage has not been picked up, it will happen a day later.
The City's Public Works Department asks people to make sure their trash and recyclables aren't covered in snow to help make it visible. They warn recyclables may not be picked up if wet as it may be considered contaminated.
If your collection is missed, you can call the Solid Waste hotline at 402-444-5238 after 7 p.m. on the collection day.
