FREMONT, NE — Access to Fremont, NE is still difficult, with most roads into the city cut off by flood waters.
3 News Now reporter Sydney Gray and photographer Mike Simmons were able to be escorted into the town by law enforcement.
In a live report, recorded and posted above, Sydney talked to Sgt. Don Elliot of the Dodge County Sheriff's Office. He warned people that the area is still very unsafe, even though flood waters are starting to recede.
We found streets crumbled by the flood waters, areas of town still covered in water, and homes that may be a total loss from the flooding.
