OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Community and faith organizations who work closely with rental property tenants have launched a new website WeDontSlum.com. The website collects photos and stories from local residents living in substandard low and moderate income rental properties.

Community leaders are calling on city officials to address the crisis through a registration and inspection process.

"Unsafe housing is pervasive in our low-income housing market, leaving countless member of our community with no option but to endure squalid conditions just to keep a roof over their families' heads," said Hannah Wyble, Founder and Executive Director of Restoring Dignity.
