An annual tradition that honors veterans over the holidays kicks off Monday.
Wreaths Across America honors veterans at cemeteries across the U.S., including Nebraska. This year's Nebraska statehouse ceremony will take place as a prelude to Wreaths Across America day on Dec. 16.
It's a week-long celebrations of America's veterans and their service to our country, with a focus on family during the holidays.
The ceremony begins at 11 a.m. at the Nebraska State Capitol Building in Lincoln.
