An Arizona Department of Corrections officer is behind bars in the Pima County Jail Friday night.
Elsa G. Ramos-Beltran, 27, is facing one count of promoting prison contraband. A Department of Corrections spokesperson said she's worked at the Tucson state prison complex since November 2015.
The spokesperson said she was arrested Friday and resigned shortly thereafter. Her initial court appearance is scheduled for Friday evening.
