LINCOLN, NE — The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services has announced the 11th presumptive positive case of coronavirus in the state.
DHHS says the person is a man in his 50s from Cass County. He was on the same connecting flight from Minneapolis to Omaha as was the 36-year-old woman who was the first confirmed coronavirus case in Nebraska. The man has been self-isolating at home since March 7.
Investigations into possible contacts the man may have had are underway with the help of the Sarpy/Cass Health Department. DHHS says all close contacts identified will self-quarantine and will be monitored for symptoms.
