The first weekend of March Madness was full of upsets and buzzer-beaters, and fans are ready for that madness to land here. Most of the high-seeded teams in the Midwest Region are increasing demand for tickets.
Kansas, Duke, Clemson, and Syracuse will be in the metro for the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 games on Friday and Sunday. The winner will go to the Final Four.
Ticket Express says "Session One" tickets on Friday for both games are starting at $370 dollars on their site, and an "All Session" pass is more than $500. That's a significant increase over the prices last week.
"At those price points a lot of people are saying, 'I'm a KU fan, I'm a Duke fan this is a must see game I want to go.' The reverse is also true a lot of people are saying, 'I'm not sure I want to sell my tickets but I want to see what they're worth,'" said Chad Carr with Ticket Express.
StubHub has Friday tickets for $300 without fees, and all-session for about $400 not including fees.
A representative at the Duke University Athletic Department says their ticket allotment is selling very well.
