Campers become ice cream testers for a day

Summer campers at the Durham History Museum today were starting the job history on their resume, instead of learning about history. It's pretty safe to say it was the job of most kids' dreams.

110 kids got the chance to taste test three different ice cream flavors, and vote on their favorite to be served at Ecreamery, an ice cream shop in Dundee. Durham staff had designed three flavors all with fun names centered around their summer exhibit 'Shipwrecked."

The winning flavor will be made into limited small batches sold the month of August. One dollar from every pint sold goes to the Durham. On August 11th ten percent of everything ice cream goes to the museum too.
