Flagship Commons opens to rave Foodie Reviews

Don't call it a food court. The Flagship Commons opened today in Westroads mall to a busy and hungry crowd.

"It's really fancy. I like it," Alex Stearns said as he worked on a personal pizza from Weirdough Pizza.

Weirdough is one of five new concepts, including Yum Roll by Blue Sushi Sake Grill, Yoshi-Ya Ramen, Juan Taco and custom salad spot Clever Greens. The food "hall" as its being called, also includes new locations for home grown favorites Aromas coffee house, Blatt Beer and Table, and Amsterdam Falafel and Kabob.

"It's awesome. It's really cool. It's a neat place. There's a foozeball table," Mia Seina.

In addition to fooze, booze. There's a full scale bar on board too. Not too many were pouring margaritas in the morning, so we were able to get what you might consider an accurate read on the reviews from foodies.

"Great, great food." Jamie Shoen said.

This could be a Flagship in more ways that one too. The company behind Flagship Commons is exploring ways to open the same kind of food hall in other places, like an airport or other malls, wetting the appetite of many.
