Two-year-old Lane Thomas Graves was attacked by an alligator while on a family vacation at Disney world.
He was building sandcastles.
In that loss, lanes parents, in their privacy, have built something for the community as they heal.

"I have three kids I have twin 13 year olds and an 11 year old so the thought if they were ever going through a tragedy like this that there is a foundation like the lane Thomas foundation that would support all of them, both financially and emotionally is such a great thing and it's such a great way for all of us to give back. " said Paul West.
On Friday night, building of trees, from three feet to a towering blue 15 footer-all decked in blue for the little boy, are for the foundation.
