Weather hitting the big stores or staying small, holiday shopping is in full swing after this weekend.
But Omaha fashion blogger Sara Sabaliauskas has been thinking about all of that for quite a while.
"The moment Halloween is over everyone is jumping for Thanksgiving looks and how to dress cute while being comfy and hiding that food baby, so it's a lot of preparation, so by the time that blog post goes live, i've been working on it for the past month,” she said.
Since starting a couple of years ago, Sabaliauskas connecting to tens of thousands of online followers, and she had some tips on what styles are in this December.
"Velvet is huge right now, minbags are really popular, and then you'll see a lot of blush tones, light greys, soft blues,” she said.
Sarah's one of a handful of bloggers Omaha based Gordmans works with to help get the word out about different trends.
For Sabaliauskas, her closet slash office is filled with decoration touches that echo some of this holiday's trend, country chic and holiday glam.
"Anything distressed, anything galvanized, anything woodsy, laterns are really big,” Sabaliauskas said.
“Really bring that luxe and glam into your home, in little easy ways like pillows, throw blankets you know, those things are really easy and super on trend,” she added.
