This year's College World Series covered just about every base in the first two days. From crazy comebacks, to dominant performances at the plate, and now, a truly dominant pitching performance.
Florida starting pitcher Alex Faedo was on fire Sunday night at TD Ameritrade Park as he allowed just two hits with 11 strikeouts through seven innings of play.
Alex in complete control tonight ... has limited TCU to 2 hits through 7 scoreless innings with 11 (!!!) Ks.

The Gators put a run on the board early and never looked back after a groundout RBI from JJ Schwarz gave the Gators a 1-0 lead in the first inning.
JJ's groundout to short gets the run in!

The three-run lead proved to be enough behind Florida's pitching staff as the Gators went on to win 3-0. Florida will face-off against Louisville Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., while TCU will take on Texas A&M in an elimination game at 1 p.m.
