The Big Ten and Big East conferences have announced the matchups for this fall's Gavitt Tipoff Games.
Both Creighton and Nebraska will participate in the event, which takes place the first full week of the college basketball season.
The Huskers will travel to St. Johns on Thursday, November 16. Creighton will take on Northwestern on Wednesday, November 15 in Rosemont, Ill.
Both matchups will be televised nationally by either Fox Sports 1 or the Big Ten Network.
The Gavitt Tipoff Games are named in honor of Dave Gavitt, founder of Big East basketball. The series is scheduled to continue through 2022.
