Nationally ranked 22nd Creighton's Lydia Dimke earned BIG EAST Volleyball Player of the Week after her weekend performance against Butler and Xavier.
Dimke averaged 12.00 assists, 3.67 digs and 1.17 kills per set while hitting .400 and setting her offense to .379 efficiency. She had match-highs with 36 assists and 12 digs along with four kills in seven swings during a 3-0 sweep of Butler on Friday. She set the Bluejay offense to .415 hitting, the fifth-best mark in program history.
Dimke had team-highs 36 assists and 10 digs, adding four kills and an ace in Sunday's 3-0 sweep of Xavier. She set her offense to a .347 hitting percentage.
Creighton (20-6, 14-0 BIG EAST) hosts Providence this weekend. Friday's match starts at 6 p.m. and Saturday's will being at 7 p.m.
