After dropping game one, the Nebraska baseball team came back with a 3-1 win over Ohio State on Saturday in Columbus to even the series.
NU starter Derek Burkamper went. 5.2 scoreless innings striking out four to pick up the victory.
The Huskers scored all of their runs in the top of the 6th. Scott Schreiber scored the Big Red's first run on a pitch that got away from the Buckeyes' catcher with the bases loaded. Then Luis Alvarado brought in two more with an RBI double to left center.
Nebraska improved to 25-16-1 overall and 8-5-1 in the Big Ten. The Huskers will go for the series win tomorrow starting at 11 a.m.
