The status of Nebraska quarterback Tommy Armstrong, Jr. for Saturday's game against Maryland is still uncertain. The senior did some light throwing without pads on Wednesday.
NU head coach Mike Riley said it would be too ambitious to say Armstrong will play against the Terrapins but the Huskers are hopeful.
Riley also said center Dylan Utter, who didn't practice on Wednesday, should return on Thursday.
Kickoff is set for 11 AM Saturday at Memorial Stadium.
