The Nebraska football team has landed its 9th known commit for the class of 2018. Kicker Barret Pickering from Hoover, Alabama tweeted out on Tuesday night he will be a Husker.
Pickering is listed as the #2 kicker in the country according to kicking expert Jamie Kohl of Kohl's Kicking Camp.
The 6'0" 185 pounder will be expected to compete for the starting job in 2018 with the departure of Drew Brown next season.
