Huskers looking at emergency QB options

LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) - After submitting the play to both the Big Ten and PAC-12 offices, Scott Frost says he's done talking about saturday's hit on Adrian Martinez

The freshman signal-caller did not practice again Tuesday morning. With not much depth at quarterback, the Huskers are starting to look at emergency options for game day.

"Yeah we have a couple of ideas," Scott Frost said. "Obviously we'd like to have somebody ready but we're sorting out things in case the worse case happens but we're sorting out through everything right now."

One Husker who's had experience at quarterback is Cam Taylor. The freshman was a quarterback in high school but is playing corner for Nebraska. However defensive backs coach Travis Fisher said Taylor is practicing with the DB's this week.

Freshman Matt Masker is currently behind Andrew Bunch on Nebraska's depth chart.
