LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) - Nebraska football takes on Illinois Saturday at Memorial Stadium.
Fans should expect to see more of Jojo Domann on the gridiron as he's made the transition from safety to linebacker.
"It's a dream come true, it's a long time coming," Domann said. "I prayed for times like that and when it came up the man upstairs delivered so I'm just going to keep doing what's asked from me and make plays and go from there.
At Tuesday's practice, the Huskers were continuing to fix special teams issues. Nebraska's emphasizing turnovers in practice, sophomore Ben Stille says the team works on turnover drills at least three times a week.
Ole Miss transfer Breon Dixon is likely to redshirt but coaches are planning to play him the final three games of the regular season and defensive coordinator says the team is being more vocal on the sidelines.
