Nebraska senior receiver De'Mornay Pierson-El was named to the 2017 Paul Hornung Award watch list Monday morning.
This is the second time Pierson-El has been named to the Hornung Award watch list, the award is given annually to the most versatile player in college football.
As a true freshman in 2014 Pierson-El earned multiple All-American honors, he also became the first Husker freshman to make the FWAA All-American team. Despite suffering a knee injury during the 2015 season Pierson-El enters his senior season with 686 receiving yards, 812 career punt return yards and eight career returns of at least 25 yards.
