As our Indispensable 18 countdown for the 2018 Nebraska football season comes to a close, the top spot on our list goes to senior wide receiver, Stanley Morgan Jr.
The New Orleans native had a record-breaking season for the Big Red last year. Morgan finished the season with 986 receiving yards, setting a new Nebraska record for most receiving yards in a single season in program history.
And Morgan Jr. wasn't done there. The senior wideout also compiled five games of 100 or more receiving yards, another new NU record.
The 6'1", 195 pound receiver also hauled in 10 touchdown catches during the 2017 campaign, ranking third-most by a Husker wide receiver in program history.
Now heading into the 2018 season, Morgan Jr. will be called on to lead the Huskers' up-tempo offense under Scott Frost. Nebraska opens the 2018 campaign against Akron on Saturday, Sep. 1 at 7 p.m.
