Our Indispensable 18 countdown for the 2018 Nebraska football season has reached the final three. And coming in at number three on our list is true freshman quarterback, Adrian Martinez.
The Fresno, California native stole the show this past April during NU's spring game. Martinez threw for 114 yards and touchdown, while adding 60 yards and three scores on the ground.
The 6'2, 205 pound signal caller is only a true freshman, but has been on campus in Lincoln since January. As fall camp nears, Martinez will compete with redshirt freshman Tristan Gebbia for the Huskers' starting quarterback spot.
Nebraska opens the 2018 campaign on Saturday, September 1 at 7 p.m. against Akron inside Memorial Stadium.
