The Nebraska men's basketball team landed a huge in-state commit on Wednesday night as Creighton Prep standout Akol Arop committed to the Huskers. Arop is the #1 ranked player in the state for 2019.
Arop made the announcement on Twitter.

The 6'5" Junior Jay standout is known for awesome dunks helping lead Creighton Prep to the Class A state title last year.
Nebraska assistant Armon Gates took to Twitter to express his excitement following the announcement.

According to our partners at Omaha World-Herald, Arop took an unofficial visit to Creighton on Tuesday but the Jays did not offer him a scholarship.
