Nebraska's Jessica Shepard was named to the Naismith Trophy Women's College Player-of-the-Year Preseason Watch List by the Atlanta Tipoff Club.
Shepard has scored in double figures in all six games for the Huskers. She also owns two double-doubles. Shepard is one of nine players from the Big Ten on the 2017 Naismith Watch List.
Last season Shepard advanced to the Naismith Midseason Top 30 before being named the 2016 Big Ten Freshman of the Year, first-team All-Big Ten selection and was a Preseason All-Big Ten choice entering 2016-17.
