The Nebraska women's soccer team earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament, the 63-team bracket was announced on Monday. This year marks the 12th NCAA Tournament appearance in program history. Nebraska has made it to the Sweet 16 eight times and has advanced to the Elite Eight two times; holding a 16-11 record all-time in the NCAA Tournament.
The Huskers are 11-5-4 this season, and finished sixth in the Big Ten with a 5-3-3 mark.
For the first round of the NCAA Tournament the Huskers will host South Dakota State on Friday, November 11th at 7:05 p.m. The winner will face either UCLA or Seattle in the second round. The second round, third round and quarterfinals will each be held at campus sites. The semifinals and finals will be played at Avaya Stadium in San Jose, California.
