Bellevue West basketball is headed to the Class A State Championship after Tevin Tanner's buzzer-beater helped the T-Birds edge out Millard South 64-62.
Bellevue West's Cedric Johnson and Nico Felici each notched 17 points, while freshman point guard Chucky Hepburn added 16 in the T-Birds' win.
Millard South's Tyrell Carroll gave Bellevue West all they could handle with his 18 points, and Kyle Perry added another 17.
The T-Birds will face Creighton Prep in the state championship Saturday at 6:30 p.m. in Pinnacle Bank Arena.
