Former Boys Town standout Teddy Allen has announced his plans to transfer from the West Virginia basketball program. Allen made his decision known on Twitter Thursday afternoon.

Allen played in 35 games for the Mountaineers this past season as a true freshman. The 2016-17 Nebraska High School Gatorade Player of the Year averaged about seven points and three rebounds a game for West Virginia during his freshman campaign.
