Ralston hopes to improve on a 3-6 record a season ago. The Rams will try to make the playoffs for the first time since 2013.
"Numbers have been really great all throughout the summer with our summer workouts and in the weight room," said head coach Jason Fink. "So we want to see that transition into what we get done during our preseason work right now."
Ralston returns eleven total starters, five on offense and six on defense.
"Hopefully we can produce more offense this year than we did last year because we struggled a little bit on offense last year," junior quarterback Isaac Dannehl said.
The Rams open the season at Beatrice on August 25.
