OMAHA (KMTV) — The 9th ranked Creighton men's basketball team beat UNO, 94-67, on Tuesday in the the first regular season matchup between the two teams in 25 years.
CU's Christian Bishop scored a game-high 18 points. Denzel Mahoney added 17 for the Bluejays.
Creighton junior guard Marcus Zegarowski had a career-high 11 assists to go along with 11 points.
The Jays improved to 2-0 on the season and return to action Friday at home against Kennesaw State.
