OKLAHOMA CITY, O.K. (KMTV) — The Nebraska men's basketball team made history Thursday in Oklahoma City.

The Huskers won the program's first NCAA Tournament game, beating Troy 76-47.

Pryce Sandfort went on a tear, scoring a game-high 23 points, 17 of which came in the first half. He went 7-for-12 from three-point range.

Jamarques Lawrence had 13 points and Rienk Mast had 11, plus six rebounds and seven assists.

UPDATE 11:15 p.m. central time: Vanderbilt vs. Nebraska will be Saturday at approximately 7:45 p.m. on TNT.

UPDATE 4:25 p.m. central time: Nebraska will face Vanderbilt on Saturday. The Commodores beat McNeese 78-68.
